Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 1970s. She was able to survive on a student salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. Lennox made the decision to alter her path in life after she became dissatisfied by her lack of skill in comparison with the other Royal Academy students. Lennox joined a group called Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. She quit the band shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent contest. Between 1977 and the year 1980 she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop group. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working for Diva in 1992, her debut solo album. It received lots of praise from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox compiled her top soul jazz blues tracks from the time of her childhood. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. The album is comprised of four songs improvised. The E.P. The album is a companion of her "Now I let the door open... art installation that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut self-released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is an Scottish activist, politician and philanthropist. She is also a musician and singer. The latter part of the 70s was when Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while members the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992 with the release of Diva, which featured several hit tracks like Why and walking on Broken Glass. Medusa a studio album which was released in 1995, features versions of some of her best-loved songs, including No MoreI Always Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). Six studio albums of her own as well as a compilation album to her credit. |
